Dr. Jane Kenney-Hunt is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Westminster College in Missouri. She received her Ph.D. in Evolution, Ecology, and Population Biology from Washington University in Saint Louis. She performed postdoctoral research at the University of South Carolina and at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis. Jane is with us today to tell us about her journey through life and science.
Jane is dedicated to personal, outstanding undergraduate instruction in a liberal arts environment. She enjoys teaching a number of different classes at Westminster College in Missouri, including Introductory Biology, Genetics, Evolutionary Biology, Developmental Biology, and Vertebrate Biology/Comparative Anatomy. In addition to her teaching and advising roles, Jane dedicates time to working in the lab conducting quantitative genetics research. She investigates gene-by-environment interactions and is focused currently on sex, diet, and genetic effects on bone biomechanical traits.
